varitation and adaptation

n class we watched videos on variation and adaptation. I worked with Juana Navarro and Feli De Simone to answer the following questions.

  1. Today we learnt that variation in genes is different than variation because of adaptation to the inviroment.

  3. this subject is somewhat similar to when we studied early man in historia, sin men adapted to the enviroment, they had teeth that could eat meat and vegetables, in order to be able to hold things we have oposable thumbs.

las fronteras

La ultima clase de geografía el profesor nos dejo como tarea ver unos vídeos y leer un articulo sobre las fronteras.

Una frontera es lo que separa dos Estados, y lo que sucede o lo que hay a partir de ahí. En uno de los vídeos aprendimos sobre la triple frontera de Brasil, Uruguay y Argentina, al vivir tan cerca de los otros países los ciudadanos de un pais pueden ir al otro cuando  quiera. En Brasil se puede conseguir cosas que en Uruguay y Argentina no, entonces un Uruguayo o un Argentino puede pasar la frontera para comprar lo que necesite. Otro ejemplo es que capaz un Brasilero tiene familia en Brasil, pero su trabajo esta en Argentina. En el articulo decía como Uruguay y Argentina al ser vecinos se ayudan mutuamente al tener personas cruzando la frontera para cumplir con sus necesidades.

 

Influencia musulmana en el sur de España

 

En la clase de historia nuestra maestra nos propuso que busquemos evidencia de la influencia musulmana en el sur de España.

Scientific method

Using the Dcientific metho. I worked with Juana to determine this question: what annoys my best friend the most?

Hypothesis: what most annoys my best fried is to be lied to in fear of getting her offended, or to be fake with her.

experiment: try diffeeent ways to annoy her, including the hypothesis

analysis: analyse the different reactions to the annoying things we do

conclusion: determine wether our hypothermia in what annoys our friend the most is right or wrong

discussion: in clas we shared our results to show what bothers our best friend the most

Lab safety rules

In our biology class today we watched a video about lab safety and we then made our own lab safety rules: 

  • don’t run inside 
  • Be tidy and avoid clutter 
  • No long sleeved shirts 
  • Hair must be ride up
  • Don’t drink or eat inside/ don’t bring food or drink inside
  • If something has broken let your teacher know immediately 
  • Wear your goggles in the correct way
  • Never smell a substance directly 
  • When heating substances or liquids keep the test tubes with their opening away from people 
  • Never refill the original container with the substance. Just discard it
