Our teacher assigned us a project to choose a chapter of the book Boy.
My group Felícitas DeSimone and Facundo Seguro chose the chapter Chocolates
We had to do some questions and activities:
Questions:
What did you like eating when you were a kid?
We both loved eating chocolate and ice cream.
Our favorite flavors were and are cookies and cream, chocolate and lemon with mint and ginger.
Did your parents allow you to eat that in large amounts?
Sometimes they would, depending on the day or occasion. But they bought these things for us, so they didn’t prohibit it.
What was your greatest dream when you were young?
What we both wanted was to be famous actresses. We had a very creating mind and we wanted to be absurd things like ballerinas, explores and people that can fly. But what we were desperate about was to have super powers for example, reading people’s mind or breathing under water.
Activity:
Song
We are experts on chocolate bars,
I know people will see us as superstars,
The best brand is Cadbury,
And with this harmony I will show how delicious it is,
Can you imagine,
I dream of creating a chocolate that tastes like magic,
It is lovely having all those dreams that fills me with this melody,
Fillings and shapes they’re both, perfect and sweet as those, marshmallows the ones that are yellow.
But be careful of which you choose because they’re not as good as,
the one filled of chocolate mousse,
I don’t like the mousse but this bar is so good
POEM:
Roald Dahl was a very young boy
Who went to Repton school
There was one good thing that gave him joy
Something really cool
Once a week he got chocolate bars
(very sweet and creamy)
They were so good it was quite bizarre
All the tastes were really dreamy!
Once upon a time he had a great desire
To create the best chocolate of them all
With special ingredients He’d have to acquire
Then his picture would hang on the wall
Unfortunately it was the dream of a child
So he did something with great imagination
Something great and not at all mild
That’s how he made his great creation
A book with characters and candy
And a place very satisfactory
Oh! Everything was so dandy
In “Charlie’s chocolate factory”

A- That’s great Roald, writers should use you as an example to follow since you such a great of a person and writer. Have you accomplished any dreams yet?
B- First of all, thank you. Second of all, I actually have accomplished the only dream I had and it was to become a recognised writer, and you have demonstrated that I already am liked by some people and being like by one person is enough for me.
A- When I will be 70, I want to be a writer such as you, I love writing and you have been such an inspiration for me and my compositions.
